Dr. Eyre is Associate Professor of Surgery (Urology) at Harvard Medical School. He is currently the President of the New England Section of the American Urological Association. His clinical practice focuses on urologic oncology and complex urinary tract reconstructive surgery. He is the founder of the Laboratory of Reproductive Biology, Harvard Institutes of Medicine, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Eyre’s research interests include HIV disease and bacterial genetic studies in the male urinary tract (NIH grant, N.E. AUA Clinical Research grant) and the pathophysiology of interstitial cystitis. He has authored numerous scientific papers and book chapters. He is a graduate of Williams College and the University of Virginia School of Medicine and received his residency training at the Deaconess-Harvard Surgical Service and the Lahey Clinic Foundation.
